The Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) basketball felled the visiting Harvard Ellis Tech Eagles (Killingly, CT), 37-27 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Lyman Memorial thwarted Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT), 54-51, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Vinal RVT for a Connecticut Technical test on Tuesday, December 19. Harvard Ellis Tech will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 58-17 league loss to Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT). The Hawks record now stands at 0-2.
