The New Town (Owings Mills, MD) basketball knocked off the host John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 49-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Overlea (Baltimore, MD). The Falcons go into the Baltimore County 2 test with a 1-2 record.
The Patriots now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Springdale Prep for a Freelance test on Monday, December 18. John Carroll will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 72-33 non-league win over Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA). The Lions record now stands at 16-11.
