Iowa High School Basketball - Keokuk thwarts Union

The Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Union Wildcats (Union, MO), 54-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Panthers go into the Southeast test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Mt. Pleasant went down by Benton (Van Horne, IA), 71-20, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Lutheran for a non-league test on Monday, January 15.
