The Lexington Christian Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Villa Madonna Vikings to 30 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burgin for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 17. Lexington Christian will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Washington County (Springfield, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.

The Vikings (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ludlow (Ludlow, KY). The Panthers enter the District 34 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Ludlow triumphed over Villa Madonna (Covington, KY), 60-25, in a league contest.
