Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), 56-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Logan County upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Colonels come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Christian County won 73-54 in their recent league bout against Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY)

Next up, the Cougars play the Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. McLean County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 78-52 league loss to Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY).
