West Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside beaten by Nitro

The Nitro Wildcats ran past the visiting Riverside Warriors basketball team by a final score of 48-38 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) in a Cardinal game, on Wednesday, December 20. Nitro will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 2-3 record after their 57-34 league loss to Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV).

With the defeat, Riverside moves to 0-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV) to face the Spartans in a Freelance game on Monday, December 18. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 3-3. Greenbrier East lost 53-46 in their recent league game against Princeton (Princeton, WV)
