With the victory, Shamokin Area improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Danville (Danville, PA) to confront the Ironmen in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Danville won 40-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Williamson Warriors (Tioga, PA) in a Northern Tier - Large challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Troy will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 47-37 league win over Towanda (Towanda, PA).
