In Saturday's non-league outing, the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), by a count of 54-44.
The Green Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians go into the Shenandoah outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Fort Defiance was topped by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 45-37, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity Episcopal for a non-league outing on Monday, December 18.
