North Carolina High School Basketball - Bethel Christian Academy knocked off by Union Grove Christian

The Union Grove Christian Patriots basketball team scored 29 points and held the host Bethel Christian Academy Trojans to 17 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkin for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Union Grove Christian will battle a Buckin' Elks team coming off a 33-24 non-league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Buckin' Elks record now stands at 2-4.
The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC). The Warriors enter the contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Living Water Christian was defeated by Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC), 40-2, in a league contest.
