Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA), 46-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Green Hornets play the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Wilson Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 29-25 non-league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA).
