The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) and the visiting Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA), saw Nevada Union's soccer squad get by Yuba City by a count of 1-0.
The Miners now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Placer for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Nevada Union will meet a Hillmen squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Yuba City drops to 2-6 on the season. The Honkers host Antelope (Antelope, CA) to meet the Titans in a test on Tuesday, December 19. The Titans come into the test with a record of 1-1. Antelope lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against West Park (Roseville, CA)
