Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Justin Garza Guardians (Fresno, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Scots confront the Kingsburg Vikings (Kingsburg, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Highland will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record.
The Guardians now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yosemite for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. Justin Garza will confront a Badgers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over McLane (Fresno, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 3-3.
