In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) ice hockey team bounced the host Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT), by a margin of 10-1.
The Hurricanes now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Mansfield for a challenge on Wednesday, December 20. Hartford will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Milton (Milton, VT). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
The Bears (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Raiders enter the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Rutland was ripped by Middlebury (Middlebury, VT), 4-1, in a league challenge.
