The Artesia Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Valley Vikings to 55 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loving for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Artesia will battle a Falcons team coming off a 47-36 non-league win over Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Menaul (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record.
