The Kearny Komets basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Liberty Charter Lions to 22 in the Komets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Komets now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mar Vista for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Kearny will battle a Mariners team coming off a 56-48 non-league win over Southwest SD (San Diego, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 4-3.

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter (San Diego, CA). The Cobras enter the contest with a 0-0 record.
