Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 70-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Whitney upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Inderkum (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Inderkum won 77-49 in their recent non-league bout against Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA)

Next up, the Hillmen clash with the Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Placer will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 69-45 non-league loss to Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA).
