The Providence Day Chargers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans to 46 in the Chargers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Chargers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Legion Collegiate Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Providence Day will battle a Lancers team coming off a 66-32 league win over Camden Military (Camden, SC). The Lancers record now stands at 2-5.

The Trojans (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Metrolina Christian Academy was defeated by Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 48-28, in a non-league contest.
