Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Health Sciences Surgeons (San Diego, CA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Matadors confront the Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Mount Miguel will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ).

The Surgeons now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Preuss UCSD for a Frontier - Summit challenge on Tuesday, January 9.
