The Alcona Tigers basketball team scored 35 points and limited the host Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts to 31 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Hale for a North Star game on Thursday, December 19. Alcona will confront a Eagles team coming off a 70-51 non-league loss to Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Mio-Au Sable falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI) to confront the Braves in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19.
