In Monday's non-league contest, the host Augusta Panthers basketball team scored a close 60-59 triumph over the Boone County Rebels.
The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bellevue (Bellevue, KY). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Bellevue was tipped by Ludlow (Ludlow, KY), 83-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Boone County will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 65-49 league win over Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY).
