The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) and the visiting Bells Panthers (Bells, TX), observed Whitesboro's basketball team knock off Bells by a score of 56-48.

The Bearcats (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponder (Ponder, TX). The Lions come into the 3A Region II District 10 challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Ponder dropped by City View (Wichita Falls, TX), 73-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Bells will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 47-44 non-league loss to Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX).
