Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Park routed by Central

Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL), 55-32 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Central advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Rockets travel to Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to face the Whip-Purs in a Fox Valley match on Friday, December 20. The Whip-Purs enter the match with a record of 3-7. Hampshire won 59-48 in their recent non-league match against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)

The Lancers now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenbard North for a DuKane match on Friday, December 20. Lake Park will face a Panthers squad coming off a 53-44 league loss to Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
