The East Providence Townies basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Westerly Bulldogs to 54 in the Townies league triumph on Monday.

The Townies now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a Division 1 game on Thursday, December 19. East Providence will confront a Kilties team coming off a 73-67 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Westerly falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to confront the Avengers in a Division 2 game on Thursday, December 19. The Avengers go into the game with a record of 0-2. East Greenwich lost 61-49 in their recent league game against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)
