In Monday's league contest, the host Independence Home School Lions basketball team scored a good 62-43 triumph over the Frontier STEM .
The Lions (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Training Center Christian (Garden City, MO). The go into the Mo-Kan Christian contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Training Center Christian topped Heartland (Belton, MO), 65-57, in a non-league battle.
The now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frontier School of Excellence for a Great Plains battle on Thursday, December 19. Frontier STEM will meet a squad coming off a 55-23 league win over Guadalupe Centers (Kansas City, MO). The record now stands at 5-1.
