The Otter Valley Otters basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Springfield Cosmos to 41 in the Otters non-league triumph on Monday.

The Otters now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Mill River for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. Otter Valley will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 71-38 non-league loss to West Rutland (West Rutland, VT). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Springfield falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cosmos host Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT) to confront the Wildcats in a Southern Vermont - C game on Saturday, December 21. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 2-1.
