The John Champe Knights basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Alexandria City Titans to 41 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
The Knights now have a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Loudoun Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. John Champe will confront a Vikings team coming off a 47-43 non-league win over Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Alexandria City falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Titans host Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to confront the Lions in a District 4 game on Friday, December 20. The Lions go into the game with a record of 2-1.
