In Monday's non-league contest, the host Barbourville Tigers basketball team scored a big 60-12 triumph over the Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers.
The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Williamsburg smashed Cordia (Hazard, KY), 52-21, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) in a District 49 contest, on Monday, January 13. Oneida Baptist Institute will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
