The Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) basketball edged the visiting Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL), 41-38 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Champaign Central for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. Danville will play a Maroons team coming off a 58-50 non-league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 3-5.
