Next, the Miners clash with the Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 21. Gillespie will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL).

The Piasa Birds (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Lancers come into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Lincolnwood overcame Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL), 40-35, in a non-league test.
