In Monday's non-league contest, the host Mena Bearcats basketball team scored a good 46-32 triumph over the Two Rivers Gators.
The Bearcats (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dierks (Dierks, AR). The Outlaws go into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Dierks topped Horatio (Horatio, AR), 54-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Gators battle the Perryville Mustangs (Perryville, AR) in a 3A Region 5 contest, on Thursday, December 19. Two Rivers will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 70-26 league loss to Dover (Dover, AR).
