The Pinkerton Astros basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Nashua South Purple Panthers to 50 in the Astros league triumph on Monday.

The Astros now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Concord for a Division I game on Thursday, December 19. Pinkerton will play a Crimson Tide team coming off a 56-35 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Nashua South falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Purple panthers travel to Keene (Keene, NH) to play the Blackbirds in a Division I game on Friday, January 3. The Blackbirds go into the game with a record of 2-0.
