Florida High School Basketball - Union County can't get by Northside Christian Academy

Northside Christian Academy (Starke, FL) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL), 26-19 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Northside Christian Academy advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The host Clay (Green Cove Springs, FL) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 2-5.

The Fightin' Tigers now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Nassau for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Union County will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 74-15 non-league loss to Hilliard (Hilliard, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
