In Monday's non-league contest, the host El Modena Vanguards basketball team scored a big 50-9 win over the Big Bear Bears.
The Vanguards (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Norwalk (Norwalk, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Norwalk was trounced by La Quinta (Westminster, CA), 53-8, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Big Bear will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
