The Sussex Central Tigers basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting Colonial Beach Drifters to 22 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Surry County for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Sussex Central will play a Cougars team coming off a 54-18 non-league loss to Southampton (Courtland, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Colonial Beach falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Drifters travel to West Point (West Point, VA) to play the Pointers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Pointers go into the game with a record of 0-4. West Point lost 37-23 in their recent non-league game against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA)
