Rhode Island High School Basketball - East Providence nips Westerly

In Monday's non-league contest, the host East Providence Townies basketball team scored a close 33-30 triumph over the Westerly Bulldogs.

The Townies (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI). The Kilties go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Westerly will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Avengers go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 66-45 non-league win over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
