The Romeoville Spartans basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Plainfield East Bengals to 60 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record.

With the loss, Plainfield East falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bengals host Oswego (Oswego, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-0.
