The Republic Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Branson Pirates to 60 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Blue Valley West for a non-league test on Friday, December 19. Republic will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 48-47 non-league loss to Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.
