The Butler Bulldogs defeated the visiting Providence Panthers basketball squad by a final score of 56-48 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Hickory Ridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 18. Butler will play a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 87-41 non-league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Providence falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 27. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Spartanburg lost 59-55 in their recent league bout against Riverside (Greer, SC)
