Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH), 46-40 in a non-league game.

The Tigers now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league outing on Friday, December 19. Waverly will clash with a Oaks squad coming off a 55-33 non-league loss to South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Oaks record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Northwest falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mohawks host Minford (Minford, OH) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, December 19. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 2-5. Minford lost 53-42 in their recent non-league game against Ironton (Ironton, OH)
