The Thurston Colts basketball team (Springfield, OR), was overwhelmed 53-13 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR)
The Bruins now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clackamas for a 6A Mt. Hood battle on Tuesday, January 4. Barlow will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 66-53 non-league loss to North Medford (Medford, OR). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-4.
The Colts (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Willamette (Eugene, OR). The Wolverines come into the 5A Midwestern battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Willamette was overwhelmed by Churchill (Eugene, OR), 61-43, in a league battle.
