The Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), 48-46 in Friday's league test.

The Broncos (2-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record.

The Friars now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Antioch for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 21. Fenwick will encounter a Sequoits squad coming off a 48-44 non-league win over Legal Prep (Chicago, IL). The Sequoits record now stands at 3-4.
