In Friday's non-league match, the visiting May Tigers basketball team scored a good 41-32 triumph over the Cherokee Indians.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 28. May will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Loboes enter the match with a 7-3 record after their 55-51 league win over Anson (Anson, TX).
With the defeat, Cherokee moves to 2-8 on the year. The Indians host Llano (Llano, TX) to meet the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 4. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 6-11.
