The West Sioux Falcons basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Alcester-Hudson Cubs to 18 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Akron-Westfield for a War Eagle contest on Tuesday, December 20. West Sioux will meet a Westerners team coming off a 56-52 league win over Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA). The Westerners record now stands at 1-4.

The Cubs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Canton (Canton, SD). The C-Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Canton was routed by Lennox (Lennox, SD), 55-51, in a league contest.
