The Staunton Storm basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Appomattox County Raiders to 21 in the Storm non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Storm now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson Memorial for a Shenandoah contest on Tuesday, December 20. Staunton will meet a Green Hornets team coming off a 76-52 non-league loss to Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Green Hornets record now stands at 3-3.

The Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Rustburg triumphed over Altavista (Altavista, VA), 63-58, in a non-league contest.
