The Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Midway Falcons (Henrietta, TX), 50-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Christ Academy (Wichita Falls, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Christ Academy was tipped by Midway (Henrietta, TX), 79-40, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Jo for a 1A Region III District 22 test on Tuesday, December 20. Midway will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-7.
