In Saturday's non-league outing, the Veritas Academy (Austin, TX) basketball squad beat the host Austin Achieve Polar Bears (Austin, TX), by a count of 72-60.
The (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against John Paul II (New Braunfels, TX). The Guardians go into the TAPPS 4A District 3 outing with a 5-12 record.
