In Saturday's non-league outing, the Parsippany Hills Vikings (Parsippany, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ), by a margin of 74-68.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ). The Golden Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Pequannock held off Madison (Madison, NJ), 56-49, in a non-league outing.
The Mountaineers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host South Hunterdon for a Skyland - Valley outing on Tuesday, January 3.
