Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), 92-70 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blazer upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tomcats host Harlan (Harlan, KY) to play the Green Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Green Dragons come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Harlan won 73-61 in their recent non-league bout against Pikeville (Pikeville, KY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Butler Bears (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Fleming County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 66-62 non-league loss to Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY).
