Kentucky High School Basketball - Bourbon County knocked off by Rowan County

The Rowan County Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Bourbon County Colonels to 47 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martin County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Rowan County will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 68-58 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-2.

The Colonels (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
