In Saturday's non-league match, the host Cherokee Chiefs basketball team scored a tight 42-41 triumph over the Williamstown Braves.
In their next game, the Chiefs face the Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 20. Cherokee will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
